GEAR REQUIREMENTS:

One or more High Definition / DSLR camera(s) with a minimum of two camera batteries for each camera.
Professional tripod with a FLUID HEAD
Battery operated audio recorder (eg Zoom H4N)
Properly functioning automobile.

Camera slider
Internal or external ND filter
Lavalier microphone and shotgun mic.
Battery operated LED lighting with Warm/Cool adjustment or filters, plus appropriate light stands.
Electronic gimbal
Camera jib / crane
Backdrop (paper, canvas, cloth)
Reflectors
Drone (with pilot license)

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

One year experience (or school) filming any combination of the following: interviews, promotional videos/commercials, live events, dance recitals, documentaries.
A full understanding of your camera’s functions, including but not limited to - white balance, ISO, depth of field, peaking, frame rates, and shutter speed.
You must have at least 3 professional promotional samples in your reel, available online to view.
No editing experience necessary, but helpful if you understand the dynamics of editing a documentary-style promotional video

PERSONALITY REQUIREMENTS

Must be a “people-person”, comfortable communicating with clients, conducting interviews, and making business owners and other non-actors feel comfortable in front of the camera.
Must be friendly and customer centric.
Must be confident and have the ability to manage the shoot, according to the Nashville Video Marketing guidelines and standard operating procedures.
Must be punctual, arriving to shoots no later than 20 minutes ahead of the scheduled shoot time. One late arrival may disqualify you from future shoots.
